La Selvella was established as an agricultural village in the eighteenth century: the Pinzi and Santini families lived here, farmers who raised livestock and poultry in the surrounding fields. Today three stone farmhouses host the accommodations, each with independent entrance and air conditioning. A centuries-old ash tree shades the small square where breakfast and dinner are served outdoors in summer. The swimming pool overlooks the crete senesi. The kitchen prepares Tuscan menus with vegetables from the garden, homemade pasta and local meats. The farm is organic: extra virgin olive oil, medicinal herbs, cereals and legumes cultivated with permaculture. There are small donkeys, goats and farm animals, and farm visits designed also for children. Energy comes from renewable sources, with heat pumps and an electric charging station. Radicofani, Pienza, Bagno Vignoni and the thermal spas are just minutes away by car.
