The old farm, born in 2000 with the new millennium, has an ancient heart. A return to the land and farming traditions, for an agritourism farm located in Piana Romana, a sacred place where St Pio of Pietrelcina (our beloved Padre Pio) received his first stigmata. The agritourism is immersed in the Benevento countryside, far from smog and noise, and offers its own genuine products from cultivation and breeding. It offers a typical cuisine with specialities such as grilled meat, starters rich in home-made cold meats, vegetables, cheeses, various delicacies of our tradition, and the famous Pietrelcina artichokes (Slow Food presidium). All products are strictly homegrown, an activity undertaken with a course aimed at higher quality production, starting with greater attention to animal welfare. You can enjoy the many goodies such as fresh homemade pasta in the form of cavatelli, fusilli, gramigna, orecchiette and various local desserts. Among the cured meats are the exquisite capicolli, pancette, sopressate, pressatelle, sausages and hams. The traditional Campania cuisine of the agritourism restaurant is reminiscent of times gone by, made up of first courses and simple dishes. Each dish is made according to an art capable of giving each ingredient a particular flavour, the secret of which lies in the careful choice of the correct dosage of seasonings and in the shrewdness of cooking times.
