Irpinia, in the province of Avellino, is an area to visit to discover the riches of the "heart" of Campania. A land where you can get close to nature, art, traditions, food and wine, spas, culture and archaeology. You can explore Irpinia along the "cheese and honey roads", the "wine roads" and the "olive oil routes", or by going from one village food festival to the next, through places full of medieval heritage, with ruins and restored military and civil buildings. There are about eighty castles, towers, town walls and strongholds.
