The Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offer peaks over 3,000 metres, green valleys, mountain farms and small villages with breathtaking views. Choosing a farmhouse or mountain farm in the Dolomites means staying among alpine pastures, spruce forests and alpine lakes, with easy access to hiking trails, lifts and ski resorts in areas such as the Val di Fassa, Val Gardena, Alta Pusteria and Cortina d’Ampezzo.

- Getting around: a car is often the most practical choice to move between valleys and passes; in many areas buses, ski buses and seasonal shuttles run in summer and winter, while bikes and e-bikes are ideal for valley cycle paths.
